On August 18th, every year in the Republic of Tajikistan, the professional holiday of healthcare workers is celebrated with great enthusiasm and respect in honor of the great physician of the East, Avicenna (Abu Ali ibn Sina). Doctors are the people who ensure the healthy life of the nation, serving their people and homeland with great effort and dedication, and are beloved and respected individuals.
The Central Military Hospital of the Border Guard Forces was established in 1962 and, under the directive of the Esteemed Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, it was completely renovated and brought up to modern standards in a short period of time.
The hospital is designed to treat and provide medical services to personnel, servicemen, and border guards, with the capability to treat all types of diseases. The hospital building consists of 4 floors and includes departments for patient reception, surgery, therapy, psychiatry and neurology, intensive care and anesthesiology, dentistry, diagnostic departments, clinical-chemical and virological laboratories, X-ray rooms, ultrasound diagnostics, cardiology, internal medicine, and physiotherapy.
