The support and care of the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, respected Emomali Rahmon, for improving the material and living conditions of the officers and soldiers of the National Army is a testament to the high respect for this powerful force, which guarantees stability and peace in the country.

Throughout its history, the National Army has played an important role in strengthening peace and stability, protecting public order, and combating crime.

During the years of independence, hundreds of buildings and facilities for administrative and service purposes have been built and renovated for various units of the National Army. Favorable conditions have been created for service, rest, and material provision.

The officers and soldiers of the brave Armed Forces of the country are always faithful to their military duty. They carry out their duty to the Motherland with pride and direct all their training and experience to protect the achievements of Tajikistan’s independence.

In his message to the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan on “Key Directions of the Domestic and Foreign Policy of the Republic of Tajikistan,” presented on December 23, 2022, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, respected Emomali Rahmon, expressed special attention to this issue and noted:

“Serving in the Armed Forces is a school of gentlemanliness for the youth, where they are raised in the spirit of patriotism, national pride, and self-awareness, provided with good conditions for service, and adherence to military regulations is the most important direction of the country’s defense policy.”

It should be emphasized that the Border Guard Forces, created during the difficult and responsible days in the history of our people, not only protect state sovereignty, the stability of the national state, border security, and public safety but also serve as a vivid symbol of the independence of the Tajik people.

From the very beginning of their creation, despite economic and social difficulties, lack of equipment, and insufficient living conditions and service facilities, the staff of this structure performed their duties with pride.

At this crucial time when Tajikistan was taking its first steps toward a new democratic society, the law enforcement and security bodies of the country, striving to ensure stability, peace, and security for citizens, protect state borders, and the territorial integrity of Tajikistan, showed loyalty, sincerity, and confidence in a bright future, remaining faithful to their Homeland and people.

Thanks to the efforts and care of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, respected Emomali Rahmon, the Border Guard Forces of the State Committee for National Security, which once had inadequate equipment and material conditions, have today transformed into a powerful structure responsible for protecting borders and defending citizens from external threats.

Today, officers and border guards of Tajikistan, stationed at various points in the country along the borders with Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Afghanistan, and the People’s Republic of China, proudly carry out their honorable and high service.

It should be noted that at key areas of the Tajik-Afghan border, where there is a threat of border violations and the infiltration of drug traffickers, border guards perform their duties with particular vigilance and persistence.

Today, the world faces threats and dangers that cannot be ignored. Terrorism and extremism are dangerous phenomena that pose serious threats, causing concern worldwide, leading to disorder and destructive wars in some countries.

Today, this sacred land, this paradise, this homeland of our ancestors, where our fathers and grandfathers have worked and lived for centuries, where the best representatives of the Tajik people have grown up, can only be preserved and transformed with a strong love for the people, for our homeland, and pride for our state.

Day and night, the courage and heroism of our soldiers on the path of strengthening peace and stability, protecting borders, establishing peace, and tranquility in society serve as a model of devotion to the Motherland and the people.

It should be emphasized that the connections and mutual cooperation between the country’s security forces allow us to ensure the guarantee of peace, stability, and the well-being of citizens, effectively combat crime, and protect our Homeland in unity.

A strong sense of responsibility and devotion to this land allows the defenders of our borders, despite the winter frost and the difficult conditions of mountain roads, to show resilience and courage while faithfully guarding the State Border of the Republic of Tajikistan.
