On May 28, at the “Poytakht” Training Center of the Border Guard Forces of the State Committee for National Security of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Army General Emomali Rahmon, and the Chairman of the National Assembly of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mayor of Dushanbe Rustam Emomali laid the foundation for the construction of five 16-story residential buildings with 840 apartments for Border Guard officers.

During the project review, the Head of State was informed that the buildings would be constructed in a modern style, meeting the requirements of the time.

The first and second floors of the residential buildings will house shopping and service centers, children’s facilities, a foreign language learning center, medical points, and sewing workshops.

According to the project, underground parking, a boiler house, children’s playgrounds, and other auxiliary facilities will also be built on the premises of the 16-story buildings for Border Guard personnel.

The plan is to create all necessary conditions for the accommodation and recreation of Border Guard personnel and their families in these buildings, which will enhance their responsibility in fulfilling their duties.

During a conversation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon instructed the responsible individuals to carry out the construction work with high quality and emphasized that the buildings should be built to modern standards and comply with urban planning regulations to serve the Border Guard Forces for many years.
